DAY TICKETS

Run 9am to 5pm

Price is £10.00 per day

Both are payable on the day of fishing when they must be purchased before setting up.

ANNUAL PERMIT

Run 16 June 2007 to 15 June 2008

£450 inclusive of VAT

FROM OCTOBER 2007:

Few remaining permits available at £300 to 15 June 2008.

(plus £50 deposit for Fish Care Kit)

entitles the permit holder to unlimited access during the period (see below for exceptions). The number of annual permits will be limited to approximately 60 members.

This number will increase as 24hr ticket purchasers take up the option described below.

For members unsure of which option to purchase we are offering the following scheme:

Once a member has purchased thirty 24 hour sessions during the period he/she will automatically qualify for an annual permit with unlimited access until the end of the period.

EXCEPTIONS

The Society hosts a number of events at the lake during any Permit year (16June-15June). The lake is closed for these events,

The total maximum of closed days will not exceed one calendar month during the permit year.

These events are posted on the website well in advance.

YOUR FIRST VISIT

Horseshoe is run on traditional lines and we pride outselves on the care we take to ensure your security.

For this reason we like to meet all our members on their first visit so it is essential that you arrive during office hours.

SUBSEQUENTLY if you need to arrive on a Sunday we can arrange for your ticket to be collected from the Bailiff.

Please respect our rules - they are for everybody's benefit.

MEMBERS ONLY

All our waters are Members only Waters, but it's easy to join.

Numbers of Day/24hr tickets may be limited at the discretion of the Manager according to the conditions prevailing and taking into account the number of anglers already at the lake. As such it would be wise to telephone the office during peak holiday periods.

DISABLED ANGLERS

We have a number of swims which can be reserved for disabled anglers. Please see Rules

We also have toilets and showers with easy access for wheelchair users.

Horseshoe Catch Reports

Please note that Horseshoe Lake is closed for a number of days each year for special events and shows.

Some events are 'members only', some are open to spectators. They provide opportunities, and they lift the profile of the Carp Society providing a valuable income stream for future investments and improvements.
